Florida Flu Information Line, 1-877-352-3581, is available 24/7 for recorded
messages in English, Spanish, and Haitian-Creole. Operators are available 8am to 8pm
Eastern Standard Time.

ways to obtain valuable flu information:

Public Call Center
The public call center does not provide medical consultation to the public.
The public should consult with their healthcare provider regarding H1N1
questions specific to their medical condition and treatment.
- Hours of Operation: 8:00am -8:00pm
- Audience: Public
- Purpose: Provide general information regarding seasonal and H1N1 flu.
Automated messages regarding H1N1 are available 24/7 in English, Spanish and
Creole. Operators are available from 8:00am-8:00pm EST, 7 days a week in
English, Spanish and Creole.

Healthcare Call Center
This line is not intended for the public to seek medical advice. Calls from
the public will be routed back to the public call center.
- Hours of Operation 24/7
- Audience: Florida-licensed Healthcare Providers
- Purpose: Provide guidance and consultation on H1N1 testing and treatment,
when and how to report H1N1 outbreaks, information on specimen collection,
shipping and packaging, and H1N1 vaccine distribution and safety. Healthcare
professionals are also available to help with assessment and management of
vaccine adverse effects.

Adverse Reactions Call Center
The Florida Department of Health has partnered with the Florida Poison
Control Centers to provide consultation 24/7 for the Healthcare Call Center
and the Adverse Reaction Call Center.
- Hours of Operation 24/7
- Audience: Anyone who has received the H1N1 vaccine
- Purpose: Provide medical assessment, triage, and management of vaccine
adverse effects for those who think they may be having medical problems
post-vaccination. Operators are available in English, Spanish and Creole.
